Just got an early Christmas present when my brother sent me this article on Charlies Grodin, filled with links to his curmudgeonly late night appearances, including his famous SNL appearance and his free-for-all with Sean Hannity. (And yes, that copy of The Great Muppet Caper that I'm putting in my toddler's stocking is really for me.)

Oh man what a cool article! I like Charles Grodin a lot as an actor but didn't know about these talk show appearances or the SNL episode. Totally going to watch those now, awesome.
I love him too, and sometimes I wonder if talk show guest was his true calling -- although who can argue with The Heartbreak Kid?
