After seeing Drive this weekend, I was left wondering, when was the last time I've seen a move that singularly cool? Suffice it to say it's been awhile. Everyone agrees that the film has style in spades, from the scorpion jacket to the 80s-infused titles to the soundtrack. But what entranced me was seeing the eruptions of fury from beneath its smooth candy surface. Like Marsellus when he got medieval, this Driver gets all Michael Myers on their asses. Maybe Ryan Gosling is right: all those John Hughes movies needed a little more head smashing. The poster is from a series by Cory Schmitz and Maré Odomo.9.26.2011

I really need to see this. I've been told it's SO GOOD. Not to mention, I love me some Ryan Gosling.
