Last night I decided to take a break from the books I'm reading (Flannery: A Life of Flannery O'Connor and The Photograph) to try something lighter. Much lighter. I was in the mood for some good retro celebrity trash to send me to sleep. But really, this just made me mad. I think I was hoping for some great behind-the-scenes dirt, something like Bruce and Charles Rocket fighting between takes. Instead there was loads about the Shakespeare episode. Ick. So my next guilty celebrity read will be something I didn't buy for $1 at the Salvation Army: Furious Love: Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, and the Marriage of the Century.8.17.2011

And you will love it!
It's disappointing when a trashy read turns out too trashy to read - though for a $1 it's always worth a try! I have 'Furious Love' on my large list of 'books to buy when I get through the pile I already have'. It looks like it'll be a good one!
Seriously, what were they thinking with that Shakespeare episode?!
This is giving me ideas for your package. Ideas that could very well go horribly awry if I'm not carefully selective ;)
Oh Missa, my appreciation for thrifty finds really knows no bounds; even though this one didn't read well, it was still worth it for the cover and pictures inside!
